Make the most of your stay
Two relaxed days in the Bajo Nalón
A flexible 2-day itinerary for exploring the Bajo Nalón from Riberas, with time for the coast, local towns and a relaxed return to your apartment.
Day 1 · San Juan de la Arena and Los Quebrantos
Start with a walk around San Juan de la Arena, by the mouth of the Nalón. Then head towards Los Quebrantos for some time by the sea. Choose the length of your walk to suit the weather and your group.
For lunch, explore local Asturian cooking. Check restaurant opening times and book ahead where needed. Keep the afternoon relaxed, with time to return to Riberas.
Day 2 · Pravia and Santianes
Spend part of the day exploring Pravia on foot. Combine it with a visit to Santianes and its pre-Romanesque church of San Juan, checking access and visiting times before travelling.
If you would rather stay by the water, swap this day for a walk around San Esteban. Choose one main area for the day so you can enjoy it without rushing.
Fit the plan around your stay
Arrange the days around your booked nights: check-in is at 5 pm and check-out is by 12 noon. Check the weather, access and opening times before leaving. Pets are welcome at no extra charge, but must not be left alone in the apartment.
